TIANYU ELECTRIC
35–220 kV power transformers, distribution transformers and prefabricated substations.
220 kV power transformer, outdoor substation installation
Tianyu Electric traces its origins to the Fuzhou Dazhong Machinery Factory, founded in 1920. The company was formed in 1995 from the merger of Fuzhou First Switchgear Factory, Fuzhou Transformer Factory and Fuzhou General Electric, and is today a wholly-owned subsidiary of XJ Group Corporation under China Electrical Equipment Group.
More than 30 product series cover primary power equipment up to 220 kV, supplied to projects in over 30 Chinese provinces and 28 countries.
Company profileFrom generation to load
Tianyu builds the equipment at every voltage step between a wind or solar plant and the final load, from 0.69 kV collection to 220 kV transmission.

Manufacturing
Key processes from coil winding and assembly to logistics and testing run at over 95% automation. The lines use Stollberg winding technology, MICAVAC kerosene vapour-phase drying and fully automatic core cutting from Georg and Soenen.

Testing
The six-side shielded transformer laboratory has its own generator set and runs routine and type tests for transformers of 220 kV and below.
